The feeling when I finally solved my touchpad problem (in linux) that has stayed for years.....
It reminds me of my childhood day when i succesfully solved difficult puzzle. That satisfying feeling makes me craving more problem to solve.
Of course i'm still an ameteur on everything, but that position gives me a freedom to learn everything, to allow me to be a fool, to absord everything i want.
This is interesting, but not for the obvious reasons:
The era of Photoshop may be ending, as Adobe stocks take a battering
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/era-photoshop-may-ending-adobe-165724311.html
tl;dr Adobe's stock is down because "AI" so Yahoo concludes this is the end of the "Photoshop era".
What's interesting here is that "Photoshop era" is ending โ according to Yahoo โ not because users are turning away. It's because *investors* are.
The "market" for software and services is a side-show. Only the stock market matters.

i know that X is not a good social media, but i'm still using it for connecting with great thinkers.
question: i'm using Vivaldi browser, but why Vivaldi can't let me sign in to X? It happens both on my laptop & PC @Vivaldi
Hallelujah, I've found a FOSS transcription app that allows offline, on-device transcription of pre-recorded audio files, e. g. downloaded Signal voice messages.
Fair warning: It uses OpenAI's machine learning model "Whisper", which runs locally, but was most likely not trained ethically by OpenAI. But least it's being put to good use as a valuable accessibility tool. ๐
"Notely Voice" by Tosin Onikute is available for Android and iOS and even on F-Droid:
Why I don't use Ubuntu-family?
SImply because it's from Canonical.
And I feel I have more control on my PC with Debian (plus I have a balance to not overtweak my PC and just use my PC as I want).
Why I'm so persistent to use Debian even i'm a casual Linux user?
- Debian is so stable. Low maintenance. I don't need to spend a lot of time to tinker my computer. I prefer to use my computer as my tools to get things done.
- I love FOSS & Debian's core philosophy and wanna supporting them as I can
- Even if I meet an unintended error in my PC, I'm sure i still can fix it (thanks to many helpful forum)
- Many FOSS offer Debian packages
- I just love the old school & efficient thing.
I'm home...
After 2 years ago played with Debian (and back to Windows), now I'm a full-fledged Debian user again.

I'm not LInux superuser, but I think i can handle most of my daily task with Linux.
Hopefully my new future jobs doesn't require me to go back to Windows again ๐
