I don't want to join a discord to get support for something computer related and I CERTAINLY don't want to join a discord just to get updates on a fan-made piece of merch.
"we're making a limited number and discord gets first crack" shut up. fuck off. you're 3D printing it and you have the capability to, idk, make them to order. if freaking goodsmile can do this so can you. and they have the courtesy of saying how much it'll be.
the streamers have been playing the games with the original JP voices since Yakuza 0 and are now on Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Why would you come into a stream and start off by badmouthing their vocal cast choice?
They were better after that, but I'm still side-eyeing them.
it feels weird when someone comes into a stream and starts doing sort of the whole JAQ-ing schpiel. someone in the chat mentions Dispatch. "What's Dispatch?" "it's sort of like a Telltale game" "What's Telltale?"
Like I get not knowing every game that's ever come out, but Dispatch was pretty popular and Telltale is (was?) a big studio with a specific vibe and popular games. It feels sus. Plus when they started off with "oh, I can't stand the JP cast, I prefer the EN dub." Of Yakuza.
you know how sometimes people are just extremely touchy and like it's probably not even you but they're just responding negatively anyway
which is extra fun when you've been having a bad, extra emotional day and just coming off of that

blargh I did not sign on for discord server drama where I don't even know what I said wrong but I really do not need this
