Flying birds, excellent birds, watch them fly, there they go ... now doing their post sunset figure eight maneuvers over the roof of the senior living facility to my building's southwest underneath a silvery sliver of a crescent moon
-Mammoth Lakes road trip (~1150 km., four days)!
-legs still sore from Rainbow Falls hike at Devil's Postpile monument
-enjoyed water bodies, including an actual Lake George and a cow-pasture hot spring
-altitude sickness ugh: nausea, headache, insomnia
-ski-town visit during non-ski time: odd but pleasing
-traumatized by first half of return route: remote, steep-grade two-lane state highways with zero bars past military bases and seas of trees
-second half: satisfied Hwy. 4 curiosity

[email protected] I picked his "Under The Whispering Door" late last year for our book club, and most seemed to like it more than love it. I dug it, but could see some of the other issues they raised as well as some traits you mention.
@Are0h If i may ask, what's your interest in them: colors, controls and automation? But if you don't want to say, that's cool too. I did see something the other day that sounded intriguing about bulbs that mimic sunlit wavelengths and maybe fluctuate appropriately during daytime?
