About a year ago, my friend and I were working on a project using FreeBSD.
While we were tapping away at our keyboards, my friend suddenly shouted, "Where's lscpu? Where's lscpu?!"
I said, "Mate, this isn't Linux, it's BSD! It doesn't even have lscpu... but don't you worry, I'll bring lscpu right to your doorstep if you want, consider it done!"
I had a think about it, sat down, and wrote a simple lscpu tool for FreeBSD.
Here is the source code:

A FreeBSD implementation of the Linux lscpu command that displays detailed CPU architecture information.

Just one Go codebase.

Built from Linux.

Targeted Windows, macOS, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, across multiple architectures.

No dual-boot.
No spinning up a dozen machines.
No installing every target OS just to compile for it.

Go cross-compilation still feels like cheating in the best possible way. 🚀

🎉 Happy to announce the official release of Anzu Proxy v1.0.0!

After a very long development journey, Anzu Proxy is finally here: an all-in-one proxy server combining SOCKS5, HTTP/HTTPS (with HTTP/2 + optional caching), and Telegram MTProto with Fake-TLS for DPI resistance.

Available on Snap Store for amd64, arm64, and arm7.

Install:
sudo snap install anzu-proxy

Ubuntu 26.04 LTS replaces mature GNU tools with Rust alternatives that still break old scripts. Safer code means little when compatibility is no longer guaranteed.

I once had a perfectly reasonable idea: write a DHCP server from scratch in C. “It’s just assigning IPs,” I said. Turns out it’s broadcasts, RFCs, edge cases, and pain. But seeing a client get an IP from my code? Totally worth it. Contributions welcome

🚀 So I went ahead and created a brand-new web framework called Anar.
Because, you know, the world definitely needed another web framework.
Move aside Django, Rails, and Laravel—your time is over. The future is clearly pomegranate-powered. 🍎☀️
