Removed most of the skin from my left thigh this morning. My front wheel washed out on a descent, this is something I'm normally good at (and love doing), although lately I have been wondering what would happen if I crash while steaming downhill in nothing but lycra, now I know.
The UK government's plan to teach 10 million British children how to use VPNs may be one of the most ambitious IT education projects ever launched. Experts have praised the scheme, saying that a deft combination of incentives and peer education make it more likely to succeed than other, comparable initiatives.
"With the rise of autocratic governments worldwide, VPN-literacy is more essential than ever.” said one expert, “This bold project definitely comes at the right time.”

I now know why everyone says Girona is a great place to cycle. Just done a great 50km gravel loop, something we don't have in Mallorca. Nice combo of fast gravel, punchy climbs topping out at 300m and quite technical descents where the road had washed out, and a river ford thrown in for good measure.
One of the great things about having my permanent residency, is the subsidised travel. On the island I pay nothing to use buses or trains.
I just booked a ticket to go to Barcelona on Sunday on the ferry as a foot passenger, and it was €8! Two of those euros were the lounge seat reservation. This is the slow ferry, so it's a 7 hour trip but I don't mind a lazy Sunday sailing across the Balearic sea.
