Discovered this morning, that spreading marmite on pão de queijo (Brazillian cheese bread) before baking turns them into round twiglets.
The other half was horrified...until she tasted them.

Back to work after spending the last week of my 40’s in Rio. One of my favourite cities. A place that is on the edge of chaos (in a good way).
We spent mornings at the beach, long lunches in local botecos, and boozy nights soundtracked to samba.
Had a session of acupuncture today, followed by deep tissue massage. My back and neck have been broken for sometime.
While I'm a bit meh about the acupuncture bit, the massage has worked wonders. There's still some way to go to fix 25 years of bad posture. But I can at least feel progress.
Kids don't let this happen to you, buy a proper chair for work, and do some yoga once in a while. Future you will thank you for it.
Spent yesterday evening in the world's best No 24 cocktail bar (Tan Tan in Sao Paulo). I actually think it was better than No 4 (Paradiso in Barcelona) that we went to last September.
Highlight was a drink called Hello Sucker, think dirty martini crossed with a Bloody Mary in flavour profile. Pretty dam good.

Trying to workout if that iOS 18 exploit is a ploy by Apple to get you to update to one of the worst UI's in history.
First impression are truly awful, the fucking switch/toggles are making me want to throw my phone in the bin and go back to a Nokia 3310.
The only saving "feature" if you can call it that, is now I'm pretty much forced to change my location/region to Spain - so I don't have do some age verification bullshit.
