@christianselig @layoutSubviews grid will continue to green over time. Do you have a sell-back feature with your local utility provider? Selling power to the grid really accelerated my ROI.
As for install size, you’ll still require permitting which is where you may find sizing limits implemented.
@christianselig @layoutSubviews are you sure they won’t limit you for non-grid tied? You also don’t want to cut the grid tie IMHO.
I had 15kW on my house which was tons for 2 EV’s, a heat pump, full family, and hefty count of powered devices.
No batteries though. Ideally if a storm is coming — charge early… my hope would be Vehicle to Home charging in an emergency vs worrying about charging both EV’s via a battery.
