Completed my first project with an Arduino-like board.

It's a device to save aperture and shutter speed when using a film camera, and it also works as a light meter in a pinch.

Last sunset of this vacation.
It's snowing in Upstate NY right now, it'll be hard go back to reality tomorrow!

About to compete in my first official #RichardBurnsRally event.

My pace is good, but I make too many mistakes, it'll be a miracle if I make it to the end.

@jonn I'm gonna try to stream it here: https://youtu.be/LR25pb5nUDg

Azores Rally - My first RallySimFans RBR rally

YouTube

Starting the #SimRacing #RallyAzores after lunch.

Drove a shake-down and it didn't go too well. Spent a minute in a [beautifully-made ditch].

The car is in one piece, which is matters a lot.

The goal is, as usual, to survive the rally. It's just under 50km, so shouldn't be too hard.

No turkey at this year's thanksgiving dinner. Big improvement!
I thought I was quite decent at #simracing, but every time I try out #RichardBurnsRally it's such a humbling experience!
My brain can barely keep up with the pace notes from @jonn
Here I manage to keep the car straight for 30 seconds, but I definitely crashed both before and after the clip :D
Race night! #simracing

When I decided to try out #filmphotography I didn't want to invest money in a proper negative scanning setup (yes, I'm shamelessly cheap).

So I put together a DSLR scanning setup using mostly parts I had laying around.

Here it is in all its glory:
- PVC pipe from home depot
- Old DSLR camera
- 50mm lens with 36mm extension tube
- Cardboard film holder
- Random daylight lamp

Hope to inspire other fellow "frugal" people :)

Got the first snow of the year in Albany last night. It was kinda pretty, but don't need any more of it, thanks!

Only 4 short months to go before the motorcycle comes out of again 🙄
