I live, work and grow on the unceded ancestral lands of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations, colonially called Vancouver, B.C..

Yesterday I attended Jamin Zuroski talk at the Bill Reid Gallery. He is the Indigenous artist who won the competition to design Vancouver's FIFA poster for the 2026 World Cup.
The indigenous practice of gratitude, generosity, reciprocity and relationality is always amazing and inspiring!

Defeatism is a form of surrender. Cynicism is surrender. Despair is surrender. Nihilism is surrender.
