I made linzer cookies. Dough was a bit dry. I don't know if I have to adjust the recipe (again) or if it was the weather. I'll sprinkle them with powdered sugar before I bring them to my friend's house on Christmas Eve.
Decorated my friend's tree, too. I love those hand-blown Czech ornaments.
Large crowds in Boston Common.
#Boston #NoKingsThere was a large crowd at the No Kings protest at King's Beach in the North Shore (Massachusetts) town of Swampscott.
#NoKings #Massachusetts #SwampscottMAPro-democracy, anti-Trump protestors marching to Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall on February 17, 2025. Despite the freezing temperatures and 50 mph gusts of icy wind, there were well over a thousand people at the protest, which included stops at the Massachusetts State House and Boston City Hall.
#fiftyfiftyone #Massachusetts #protests #BostonMaPeople arriving at the Massachusetts State House in Boston today for the protest against Trump, Musk and project 2025. There were hundreds of people there, maybe a thousand?

#CambridgeMAEarly 18th century gravestone from the Rumney Marsh Burial Ground in Lynn, Massachusetts, USA. Along with the typical winged skull, there are delicate flowers in each corner. I love the carving on and shape of many of those old stones so much that I found a stonecutter in Maine to create a stone like this for my father (without the skull, though.)
