I love much about The Guardian, and pay to use it, but its search is sufficiently bad that they ought to remove it since it is a net time waste given how few times it finds relevant content. As it stands the search icon is a fig leaf hiding the fact that there is no search engine, there is instead a “find irrelevant content and waste time“ engine.
I will never forget playing something I saw mentioned called Minecraft, in 2010, being beyond impressed, and then, entirely unexpected, out of nowhere this music began. I cannot recall a more pivotal perfect gaming moment 🥹
We have put out a release candidate for NVDA 2026.1.1. This is a patch release to fix security issues. A bug fix is also included for an issue introduced in 2026.1 with how ctrl+f is handled in File Explorer.
