I love good intuitive design, web accessibility, semantic HTML, and lovely #CSS; they're good. Brexit on the other hand, is a negative-only caustic pile of balls. 🇬🇧 🇨🇦

UK establishment, Kier Starmer ultimately, is doubly appalling for not fixing this awful injustice and for failing to prosecute the utter thieves that governed the Post Office

There is a special place in hell for

Netanyahu, those who encourage the sort of unimaginably awful behaviour described here, those who carry such acts—Israeli or Palestinian; and for Trump for essentially supporting, encouraging and further enabling Netanyahu. That they live and these people die is just indescribably awful.

Ottawa light rail problems:

“the plan could include acoustic and vibration monitoring that can detect bearing issues earlly”

No need, just ride in the train and listen for the appalling mechanical screams as clearly wrong engineering item A tears against item B. If my car made that noise I would assume the only safe option is to stop and get it transported to a garage. #ottawa #railway

Random thought.

If public libraries didn't already exist, capitalism wouldn't let you invent it. Can you imagine how many billions Jeff Bezos would plough into fighting the idea, destroying any politician who dared to back it?

Support your local library.

Albertans aren't wrong to be concerned. All you have to do is look at #brexit and see how well that worked out - all the concerns listed came true.

We are 6 years into the pandemic. 3 COVID shots don't make you "fully vaxxed." Even if you have gotten the maximum number of boosters that you're eligible for, with a minimum of one per year, you're not COVID-safe if you're not masking with a respirator.

And if, like most people, your immune system and overall health are degraded from multiple COVID infections, you're more prone to carrying around other infections and more susceptible to getting ill from them.

I'm so tired of the delusions.
