I wonder if anyone is conducting any medical studies regarding dementia/Alzheimers in people of certain ages and video gaming.

People of the Atari, Nintendo, arcade, and PC Gaming ages are entering a more mature or elderly phase of their lives. I wonder if there is a study on if dementia/Alzheimer cases are up or down in groups that have played more or are still playing video games compared to those that do not or have not on a regular basis.

Or maybe even have a study on elderly people now and teach them how to play certain "easier" video games to play and study them.

It seem already proven that gaming is good for you but also how much gaming and for who...

Part of me feels as though I failed in some way as a cybersecurity, privacy advocate, and anti-scammer citizen...

I was at my local bank and couldn't help overhear an older customer ahead of me request from the teller $20,500.00 in cash. He let the teller know he called in advance to make sure he could withdraw the amount and that the bank had it available.

All I could think about was that I hope he has a legitimate personal or business reason to request that much in cash. I really hope he wasn't being scammed in some way. All I could think about was should I have approached him in the bank and just politely as possible ask if he was OK and to make sure he wasn't being taken advantage of... that's a lot of money in cash... good luck old man I hope you're safe...

I also felt that maybe the bank should be asking some questions too...

Just on the record if this comes out as something bad, this was at the Wells Fargo in Serramonte, CA.

Should I have said/done something? How should I have gone about it if so?

Not sure how many of you are nerdy and old enough like me but if you watched Tron: ARES some of you might have noticed that the code they are looking for was written in BASIC.

I recognized the language and command structure from the short clip of it they showed... even though what they has written isn't going to do anything...

Companies and sites that only accept phone numbers from major mobile carriers or not allow the use of internet/VoIP numbers should have some kind of guarantee in writing with monetary penealties to victims of security breaches.

I want to be able to use my #googlevoice number to register a #microcenter account but it won't allow it telling me I need to register a mobile number from a major U.S. carrier.

I don't need their spam emails or faux discounts that badly and I'll use other outlets or platforms.
