Rain Vase.
It’s been eerily dry. It hasn’t rained heavily in almost a month. Usually, this is my favorite time of year. I love standing on the beach under a dramatic, overcast sky watching lightning and off-shore rain storms. I love walking out into the garden after a thunderstorm and noticing how turgid and bright-green all of the leaves are. This year, even the native plants in my yard are barely hanging on. We’ve been in drought for years but it’s so hard to accept this as the new normal.

I have often come across the quote below. Before reposting it, I wanted to verify it. And I found out it's from a 2005 Salon interview https://www.salon.com/2005/04/24/satrapi_2/ -- during the time I worked at Salon! A neat coincidence for me.

Keefe Tech couldn't afford to upgrade Dentrix after their old one expired. Henry Schein refused to give them a school discount. I was able to come in and install Clear.Dental with #Kubuntu #Linux.

(And yes, this is the 1.0 version; I will be upgrading it to 2.0 later this year)

We received the new prototype of the @pine64 PineTimePro!
Together with @gamelaster and @ralim, we managed to power it up and flash/run/debug our code into the device!

Here are a few pictures of my setup! The watch demo is the one I planned to show off at @fosdem this year. The other app is a selftest application I'm working on to test all devices and functionalities of the hardware !

Our main priority is validating the HW so that PineStore can build the first pilot batch.
