#introduction

I am a 46-year-old reporter for the Watch Duty app, a one-stop-shop for #wildfire notifications and so much more. Check it out at watchduty.org. I serve as staff to three cats in Los Angeles. Eons ago, I worked as a reporter and editor. I'm interested in everything wildfire, #climatechange, #weather, and #journalism. I have one kid who is currently attending university. @bbdd333 I agree with your assessment. The content creators seem to be here, and the folks I interact with most. The people who are just consumers, not here yet.

@smitty Thanks! Yeah, I figured this was the correct choice, as I think the thrill for the kids is in just having something that tastes like what they expect as root beer, but that they made.

@andybrwn My machine is federated. As soon as I am confident it is fully stable--a bit worried about what its storage consumption patterns are-- I will be moving this .social account over there (yeah, I'll lose my posts...)
