Meta’s Ray-Ban AI glasses are quickly becoming mainstream wearable tech with over 7 million pairs of glasses already sold!

That raises new questions about consent, surveillance, and how these devices could be misused.

In our latest @sharedsecurity podcast episode we discuss the risks, the technology, and what it means for everyday privacy.

What do you think about AI glasses like these? Are they a privacy risk or do you think these are the next big thing? Let me know in the comments!

If you use TikTok and send direct messages, here's what you should know:

- Your DMs are NOT end-to-end encrypted
- Authorized TikTok employees can access message content under certain conditions
- The platform has no plans to change this — and says it's intentional
- TikTok frames this as a user safety feature. Security researchers point out it also means your messages could theoretically be exposed to hackers, government requests, or corporate access at scale.

We discuss what this means for individuals, organizations, and anyone thinking about messaging security on this week's episode of the podcast!

What do you think? Is this the beginning of the end for cybersecurity vendors or something we should embrace as an industry? Let me know in the comments!

Surprise, surprise...this feature is enabled by default...😬

What do you think of 'Search Party'? Is this a useful community tool or soft launch of a surveillance state? Let me know in the comments!
