Collecting birch sap from fallen trees. It is supposed to be healthy! Tastes very much like water :) I wish there were maples too, like in Canada 🍁!

I don't think the UK media have made nearly enough noise about the US Navy sinking an *unarmed* Iranian warship and then, in clear violation of the Geneva Conventions, leaving them to drown.

This is a heinous war crime which the media would be rightly up in arms about if any country that wasn't nominally an "ally" had done it.

Keine Worte. Der Postillon könnte solche Artikel nicht schreiben.
Keeping on with my string of lucky beautiful sunsets. Now in La Rochelle, famous Anglo-French port on the Atlantic. #france #aquitaine #atlantic #sunset
This is why I truly think Jean-Luc MĂ©lenchon is #antisemitic. And many of his supporters choose to dismiss this. They claim there’s a “cabal” against him — yet another term with clear antisemitic overtones — instead of confronting the pattern. #LFI #frenchpolitics #melenchon

I've helped fellow travelers in fluent French, okay Spanish, and even my sketchy Russian, but I will never be as badass as this person.

A succession of amazing sunsets here in beautiful France.

Spending time in Poitou, Anjou, Bourbonnais, really regions I know little about, but very important to the French monarchy.
