I was asked to review silver lining redux, a musical about several generations of middle class activists grappling with individual and collective pasts as they try to bridge it with the present. it's a musical within a musical within a musical, highly experimental and dare I say it... original. my central question was, is this the martial law story that deserves to be told? I left with the sobering reminder that all stories do. silver lining redux is on a limited run at rcbc theater.
