If you want an idea about why it’s so hard to make things better, all the commenters on this article are saying we should scrap electric buses and that Net Zero is a scam
You’re getting Salesforce’s “homeless data lab” instead of more houses

Zack Polanski says that vegetables for 7p is a sign of a broken system.

Farmers say that there’s a “race to the bottom on price” and Tesco is effectively “giving away” produce.

But look at the difference in the headline! Look at the number of comments!

The media really thinks you’re stupid.

A boost in living standards. A reduction in inequality. Pushing back on climate change.

But critics claim this won’t work because the world won’t “reorientate itself against consumerism”

The world that’s already orientating itself towards experiences than material goods? Where you have basically the same goods as you did 30 years ago?

Sorry, or maybe it’s connected to the internet to show you ads.

We have a choice: take the necessary action, or be forced into it when the water is at the door

Both published today. I wonder why one is framed as a bad thing, and the other is framed as a good thing?

Conservatives are so ready to import American-style discourse in the country that they’re going to ignore decades of data about racism in this country.

They’re doing this so you don’t turn on *them*, the people who have been running the show. No war except class war.

Henry Nowak’s father: “We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension”

The media:

Remember when people told you this never happens and to even suggest it was racist?
“If things ever get better we wouldn’t be able to pressure young people to join the forever wars”
If you want an insight into the minds of Telegraph readers, the comments are full of people saying that this is “left wing authoritarianism” and that the road will “look great when Russian tanks are rolling over it”
