Has anyone in @bookstodon listened to the audiobook of Ymir by Rich Larson? I swear the main character sounds EXACTLY like Alfie Solomons.

My entire Twitter feed is:

@bookstodon After listening to the audiobook of THIS IS HOW YOU LOSE THE TIME WAR I have one review: Do not start with the audiobook. This is not a criticism of the performances - they were wonderful. It’s that this is a story that is MADE for careful tagging, underlining and cross referencing. Every chapter I wished I could flip back and forth to make sure I had absorbed every chapter.
@bookstodon I banged through The Stranger by Albert Camus in two days, completely surprised by the experience. I expected it to be heavy, dense, and abstract. Instead it felt like a mid-century Kafka novella. I realize though, I’m reading it from a 2023 POV, and was wondering if anyone was familiar with any anti-colonial critiques of it? #camus #thestranger
