#Math is wild. You'd assume that given a particular length of perimeter to play with, different configurations would provide equivalent areas, but that's not true.
I have 164ft of fencing. To make a square, it's (164/4=) 41ft per side. And that's (41x41=) 1,681ft² in area. But let's say I need to cover a longer and skinnier area. Let's take 21ft from the short side to the long side (62+62+20+20=164). Now my area is only (62x20=) 1,240ft². I just lost over 400ft².

Report a maps error to Google about their mislabelling the Gulf of Mexico as the “Gulf of America.”

Google changed the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America. It would be just a total shame if we all flooded Google with feedback telling them the Gulf is labeled incorrectly. Open Google Maps, zoom out and center on the Gulf of Mexico. Click on your photo in the upper right. Select Help & Feedback. Select Send Product Feedback. Report an issue. Tell them the Gulf of Mexico is labeled incorrectly. Spread this far and wide! #MakeGeographyAccurateAgain
