📍 The ACCLIMATE Project Meeting and Summer School are officially underway in Paris👋

Our consortium has gathered in France this week, hosted by our colleagues at IDDRI!

All 20 partners from Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas have come together to review our latest scientific results, exchange ideas during the Summer School sessions, and map out the next steps, focusing on transparent and actionable climate strategies to meet real-world policy challenges.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 uses a modified integrated assessment model to explore how CBAMs can reduce carbon leakage, support the transition to low-carbon technologies, and shape global steel trade dynamics!
