so this animation went mildly viral on twitter (yes, yes, I know. The pixel artists all still hang out there though). So of course I noticed a bug in the animation (most noticeable with the cow's tail). Here's the fixed version.

(the bug was when setting up the first two pages of the animation I drew to page1 when I meant to draw to page2)

@briankrebs there's a very wide gap between "I believe the law should be more punitive here" and "it is great and also funny that these people who must prove their ongoing legal compliance with state-mandated tech suddenly can't do that." I've read a lot of your work over the years, and I've never felt like you punched down. This feels like punching down.
@briankrebs there's still time to delete this terrible take, Brian

The Missing People (1982) was technically "published", but it only sold one copy. It was rescued quite recently by the author from an old disk. I give the history behind the author (who I was able to interview) and play through the game.

And it’s time for my fourth and final #MARCHintosh project for 2026, TalkCrawler AD. It’s an After Dark Module for TalkCrawler that will let you watch #GlobalTalk leisurely scroll past in one of two different styles

There is a standalone version as well if you don't want to install After Dark

Note you will need to run a re-scan in TalkCrawler Lite 1.4 (just released) before it can show anything

Available on landisk/Blackbird on BaroNet. Video in first reply.

I installed Fedora Asahi Remix 43 on my MacBook (M1 Pro), and it's quickly become my daily driver. I've daily-driven desktop Linux before but never on a laptop. Everything hardware-related that I use daily (suspend/resume, WiFi, speakers/microphone, Bluetooth, front-facing camera) worked OOTB.

KDE is very nice. Most of my preferred applications are open source and cross-platform. I'm up and running and building my own projects (requires lots of weird little A2-specific utilities).
