2/x For a bloody long time now, the safest way to lend money and get a good return was to lend to the US government by buying treasury bills, government bonds etc.
When a 2 trillion dollar fund manager says trump has gone so far they are “diversifying away from US assets”, French for we don’t believe the dollar or us govt debt is safe enough to hold on mass, you fucking listen.
1/xFor those who don’t know, I used to work in institutional investment. I’m gonna try and make this as easy to follow as possible, because I can’t quite stress how massive this news is.
PIMCO is an investment manager with around 2 trillion dollars it looks after, that’s other peoples money equating roughly to 1.5 fuck loads. They specialise in bonds, so in simple terms they lend money out for interest.
I don’t tend to go into personal stuff on social media, but it doesn’t half take the pressure off when you realise your parents are never going to respect you.

Please help. Android on Samsung good or bad? Accessible or not? I cannot stress this enough but iOS is going to give me an early death. Is android on the pixel more accessible or does Samsung’s non vanilla stuff keep accessibility the same?

First time I’ve hunted to find a native ui framework that’s cross platform, accessible, and doesn’t require learning another language to use.
The solution might be separate interfaces in separate frameworks for separate platforms, for the best accessibility experience, because frankly writing my own cross platform UI framework was not part of the brief.
Yes I know flutter exists, no I don’t want to write a minimal system utility in flutter and dart. This thing has to run on any old hardware.
