Tonight’s business hotel in Nagoya sports a neat wifi AP mounted in a wall socket at the desk, alongside a tripple-electrical outlet. Even has a button so you can turn off the annoying blue blinkenlichts!

During my 2nd visit to Cherry Bomb bar in Osaka with @kisoku I discovered they walllpaper their toilet with craft beer labels, and this one caught my eye.

This morning’s commute. (I love my commute. 20 minute walk followed by a 3 minute ferry ride down Darling Harbor. No cars.)

It is amazing to me that a modern cellphone camera - in this case iPhone 14 Pro - can now take photos of the night sky that are better than my eyes (I am getting old, or the technology is improving, or both). I have a harder time picking out the main objects and constellations from this photo, simply because it brightens the faintest stars that hardly register to my naked eye.
