#writingcommunity Are any of you writing in English even though it's not your native language? Or did you ever start writing in your native language then switch to English or the other way around?

I would be eternally grateful if you could share what your thought process regarding this was and what helped you decide what language to focus on.

I'm completely stuck in my writing process at the moment, because I can't decide what language to write...

I'm finding Mastodon a bit confusing. So far, I have managed to get my feed filled up with pictures of cats, which, of course, must be considered a good start. Now, if I can only figure out how to navigate the servers and multiple accounts, this might be a nice place to be.

A surge in new datacenters, each with the power demand of 100,000 households and a cooling water demand of 1,000,000 m³ per year to train AI models on material obtained without consent on hardware now unaffordable to consumers so fascism-adjacent tech billionaires can sell us the idea that any skill is now worthless and in doing so creating the largest economic bubble ever while simultaneously destroying society and environment.
