Twitter recently updated their Trust and Safety policies. Here's some quick diffs of what changed (I rearranged the text of the old version to line up stuff that was merely moved around, for readability.)

Notable changes:

1. The new version makes no mention of violent threats at all.

2. The new version makes no mention of their hateful conduct policy at all.

The fact that the NYT thought we needed yet another “wokeism running amok on college campuses” piece, completely indistinguishable from all the other ones, is more interesting to me than the essay itself, which has absolutely nothing new or substantive to add.

The process for following someone from their profile is - and there is no polite way to say this - completely, mindbogglingly terrible. How is "copy-paste a link back to the search box elsewhere" considered a reasonable workflow for something as basic as following someone who linked you to their profile? One-click following someone from their profile ought to be a basic core feature.
