So many countries are now seeing themselves in dire straits, rather than their essential oil passing though the Hormuz straits, that it will give govts the impetus, and popular assent, to rapidly transition to renewables.
Ironically with this war, Trump may have done more to speed up the global shift away from oil than anything ever. #Iran #IranWar

In case anyone missed it: POTUS has just threatened a gross war crime. The fact that Russia has been doing it for years in Ukraine doesn’t make it legal.

Any servicemember involved in executing such a mission would be violating both US and international law.

Absolutely agree. If lobbyists exist, then every vote is an auction regardless of if you, as a lawmaker, are selling or not. The entire mechanism has to be removed because, and you may not believe this, we demonstrably can not trust lawmakers to do the right thing.

@LibertyOverGov I mean, IMO it's legitimately the only issue that really matters. Every other issue gets 10× easier to solve once Citizen's Umited is gone. There are other issues much more *pressing* at the moment, but that doesn't make this one less important.
