Had a discussion recently. Someone praised the boot speed of a recent M4 #Mac Mini and how it only took it 10 seconds to boot up and that you do not get this on any other hardware and operating system. I tried to explain that Mac's by default do not cold boot but hibernate. While 10 seconds are pretty long for booting up from hibernate. Meanwhile my 13 years old low-end #Linux Laptop, which actually cold booted took 14 seconds. They didn't listen of course ...
