Caring. We’ve got an NHS 111 phone service for when your loved ones are feeling truly awful. It would be great if a friendly and sympathetic voice answered the phone. Instead you have to talk to a robot about things like meningitis and location based services. Then you go through a script with someone. Then they say a service will call back at some point. They won’t give the number. It’s so mechanical.
