The establishment of World Intellectual Property Day was initiated by the Director-General of the National Algerian Institute for Industrial Property (INAPI). The day creates awareness of copyright, trademarks, and patents. These are laws and registrations that protect the original work of creators and innovators. This can include writers, artists, inventors, and brands that help to make sure that creators have the right to own their work.
World Intellectual Property Day takes place every year on April 26. It was established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in 2000. The purpose of the holiday is to raise awareness about patents, copyright, and trademarks. People can learn more about how these laws impact our daily life. It helps us to celebrate talent and creativity which makes us able to recognize the contributions that creators and inventors make to our world. #TodayIs #April26 #WorldIntellectualPropertyDay
🐧 #Weltpinguintag #PinguinTag #Pinguin #TiereAmArbeitsplatz
This particular celebration of penguins was created at McMurdo Station, an American research center where researchers discovered that Adélie penguins start their migration around this day each year. So began World Penguin Day as a way to commemorate the event and raise awareness about these creatures. This day encourages people to learn more about penguins, the dangers they encounter and their environment. Alarmingly though, of the 18 known living species, 10 have been listed as endangered.
World Penguin Day on April 25 aims to raise awareness about these flightless birds to preserve their species so that future generations get to see these elegant and remarkable creatures. This day coincides with the annual northern migration of Adélie penguins, a pattern that is inherent and conserved across generations. There are eight species native to Antarctica. #TodayIs #April25
