Why am I opposed to communism? Couple of reasons....
(1) Its' propensity for authoritarian/totalitarian rule (case in point: Soviet rule over E. Europe during the Cold War)
(2) Its' inherent economic inefficiency; when the government ctrls. the levers of economic power, freedom/innovation are stifled, et. al.
(3) With the exception of China & Vietnam, most communist-run countries have inevitably collapsed (ex. the former USSR)
(4) The overall broad threat to freedom that it poses...
