Back in 1962, my family attended the Seattle World’s Fair. In addition to the iconic Space Needle and the monorail, there was this super cool pavilion, the World Of Tomorrow, where the future was predicted, sponsored by General Electric, natch.

There was a small anti-abortion group that somehow were given a permit for the steps of the Capitol building after the Resist folks already had one. Nonetheless, the event was peaceful and inspiring. #HandsOff
