I'm a Canadian and last week I lost all hope for the future of humankind. The sheer stupidity of American voters can be partially explained by the fact that a mere 50% of Americans are fully literate. Add to that, the constant barrage of propaganda that is right wing media and you create the perfect conditions for dictatorship.
