I almost gave up on this adenium because it was so unhappy this winter. Lost all its leaves, started to rot. I gave it light and ignored it. Now it’s happy. #houseplants #indoorgarden #plants

#gardening in midatlantic USA. I started seedlings back in March,, lots, and I think I double seeded six of the jiffy pucks. I have six small coreopsis s plants that are low growing, and then another six coreopsis with taller shoots and buds coming off of taller stems in the middle. I don’t think they are coreopsis. 😁Could they be black-eyed Susan/rudbeckia? I think I seeded them the same day. But I seeded some many other things as well. #nativeplants

I’m giving myself an A+ for lettuce this year. These are delicious. Mayan Jaguar, Red Oakleaf, and Drunken woman (center). I’ve gotten so much. I don’t know how much money I’ve saved, but it’ll be really hard to go back to the grocery store stuff. #gardening #vegetablegardening #lettuce

I was expecting much worse. 600g white spelt 400g bread flour 200 g starter, 725 water +10-15 g while stretching and folding. The dough was really really wet. Really wet. Hard to shape. I took half and made foccacia and let the other proof 16 or so hours. Preheated Dutch oven, baked @450 for about 45 minutes, lid on for 25 minutes. #sourdough #baking #bread

I really like fleabane. One neighbor digs and pulls like a crazy man to get rid of it. Another has an swarm of workers come in to mow everything down to flat lawn. Even after the heavy rains fleabane still looks good, and I can’t say the same for the neighbor’s white peonies, which flopped over in the storm and are muddy now. #gardening #natives #lazygardening

Hi #gardeners #permaculture people #urbangardening people and friends…..what kind of part do I need to buy (HD/Lowe’s) to turn this water barrel into a useable water barrel. The holeis 1 inch. Is there a name for the spigot parts I can search for or buy in the store even if it’s not specifically for a rain barrel?
