@lumi @cwebber Rust was made by a corporation (Mozilla) from the start so I don't know why you would expect it to be against proprietary products when it's also a corporate product.

@Bri So it works on both the web and desktop. You can open your discord account on any computer for example even when there's no discord installed.

@shaknais They tell you that Linux cares about accessibility but they keep forcing Wayland without fixing accessibility and any of its issues first.

@[email protected] @jaredwhite @vkc Not really. If almost all DE removed middle click paste except for outdated and broken ones then that's not really much of a choice. You either suck it up and just don't use middle click paste or stick with outdated DEs.

@purpleidea @garrett @mattdm I had middle click paste disabled by default when I started using Linux. I don't think many would care too.

@tragivictoria @draeand @emi @vkc I'm not against Wayland. I'm against pushing it hard when it's still not ready. Yes X11 accessibility isn't getting better but it's still better than Wayland yet people are already forcing Wayland before solving the issue.
