A unique project of ours was a request by a customer to install a vintage tin ceiling, similar to what would be seen throughout a general store 100 years ago. It was a fun and challenging project since it presented numerous challenges, most notably that it's such a rare skillset that you can't just look up how to do it!

We have a regular residential client that owns a large boutique tattoo studio in Pendleton. Her project was a unique one, in that she wanted to consult with us regarding how to change the color temperature and intensity of the lighting in her studio from the cold and bright "shop lighting" to something warmer and softer. Tuxedo Home Maintenance installed dimmer switches in addition to exchanging approximately 64 bright and cold lighting tubes with dimmable and warm 3000k lighting tubes.

Our client surprised themselves when working in the attic and accidentally stepping between the ceiling joists, therefore going through the ceiling! Tuxedo Home Maintenance was able to save their existing light fixture in addition to restoring the ceiling drywall, followed by local-area paint job!

At Tuxedo Home Maintenance, we recently completed a carpentry project for the Homeowner’s Association of a respected local golfing community in Anderson. The task involved replacing a weathered porch column for one of the residents. The former column was ornamental and hollow, which had led to rot around the base. We provided a sturdy solution by installing a modern, solid square column to replace the old one. This new column is also treated specifically to protect against future rot.

One of Tuxedo Home Maintenance ‘s valued clients in Anderson needed a rickety wooden gate replaced, wanting to bring it in line with the adjacent privacy fencing. We removed the old gate along with the posts and the concrete footings, tidied up the spot, and built a new gate and fence section from scratch. This project resulted in a private, lockable gate that can be easily adjusted for any movement or sagging.
