@Filambulle Hi 👋 This was one of many examples of different techniques to manipulate the sound texture, these are muted notes when demping the strings of very close to either end of the string. I'm playing here first note of every bar of a trad folk song collected from a Finnic speaking minority in Norway. I made these examples to a workshop where (Norwegian) folk music students got to try 5-string kantele for first time.
So, this is not the most common way of playing kantele 😄

Tendu wrap from scraps (thin bamboo jersey & tencel jersey), leftovers from several projects and none of the bits were big enough for long sleeves. From Tauko nro17.

Then 2nd & slightly longer version of Nordic tee from Tauko nro9. Still superior quality bamboo jersey.

Sport jersey (polyester, 18%elastane) from Kansallispukuraidat, stripes taken from Ikaalinen national costume (normally hand woven linen/wool parkum/kalmink) vest and printed on jersey.
