I went to Folk Music Researchers Symposium in SibA and all I got was this fuzzy photo of Tallari from Kaustinen 🎶

Joking, of course; I feel I got bag full of inspiration, ideas, thoughts, papers to read. Mostly I hope I was of help in my role as some type of bridge builder.

Season ending concert for class already in February.
Next 2months is for working on personal project, I presented one song from it today.

Overlock & coverstitch machine from the public library, thank you.
I will fix, trim, clean, iron everything, don't worry. This was testrun to see how my aunt would like the fabric.

This pattern ☝️ does have instructions for neckband&tape, but this fabric is so flimsy, droopy it didn't work at all. I cut it away and turned it with coverstitch machine, that's why there's lots of threads. #sewing #ompelu

For last three weeks now I've been trying to find time for sewing, almost desperately, but always someone else needed my time.
I needed solstice to take time for myself. I wonder where my himmeli is, I should put it up, too.

I hope to make simple half-skirt of this, it helps with the minus degrees we are finally getting. Later I hope to make top to go with it.
