Fair warning, sometimes my humor is off-color and edgy (up to Filthy Frank level), but never said with malice or hatred. I also forget to CW sometimes.

Currently installing #Gentoo on a spare drive in my #ThinkPad right now for the sole purpose of trying to later cross-compile a live image for my Lemote Yeeloong. Hopefully all will go well.

I'll be using that image to try and get some semblance of #Slackware installed thanks to the #Bonslack porting project. I just need a modern live image with the tools I need, and nothing else for the Yeeloong offers that but building my own with Gentoo.

I was gonna hold off on posting about it until I successfully got something installed on it, but that's proving to be harder than I expected.

This Lemote Yeeloong netbook arrived on the 1st, and is a pretty cool little device, using entirely free software drivers and firmware. #RMS even used to daily-drive one of these.

I'm hoping to get some form of #Slackware on it, most likely through #Bonslack, so stay tuned :)

Who's up for some Xbox (I don't own an original Xbox)??
Wow, #DLSS5 is so realistic!

#Wayland runs successfully on more things than I think some might realize. For example, I successfully got this #BananaPi set up with #SlackwareARM 15.0, and got my favorite #wlroots compositor, #dwl.

Big thanks to @mozes, the maintainer of Slackware ARM, and all the folks on the LinuxQuestions forum, for putting up with my nonsense regarding getting my Banana Pi to run Slackware ARM and the troubleshooting that came from it. The first BPi had dead SATA, so I bought a new one that works good :)

I just bought a copy of Dalton Trumbo's "Night of the Aurochs."

If you don't know, it's a very powerful example of anti-fascist fiction, in which the protagonist, an elderly and dying Nazi, reflects on his past atrocities unrepentantly, with the book's messaging acting as a nightmarish case of "protest by example." I highly recommend it to any cool Nazi-haters.

Sadly, the novel went unfinished due to Trumbo's death, but it's still a great read.

@mozes The book finally arrived, and it's really good.

I can totally see how this would be the kind of book to teach someone considerable skills in the shell.

Let's settle this:

Jenny Wakeman: friend or clanker?

Here we see a fine example of the duality of tron. I made these memes within 20 minutes of each other.
