One thing I miss about the American Blu-Ray market are the digital codes that come with the discs.

I've purchased close to a hundred Blu-Rays here in the UK over the past 3 years, and once in a while I do wish I had a "spare copy" in my digital Apple library.

I was lucky enough to watch the 40th Anniversary Screening of Highlander on the big screen last night. Such a great film.

You almost forget they made them aliens in the second one...

Saw the 4k restoration of Akira at The Garden Cinema in London, and it was absolutely mind blowing! Loved the experience of sharing it with a couple of the other cinema goers who have never seen it before.

I’m thinking of creating a handful of short one minute videos with some quick Nuke compositing tips that I would like to host on PeerTube. But I’m still trying to wrap my head around the decentralized nature. Which server should I post on? And would it matter if in the end I would be sharing links here on Mastodon? Including my first viewing of Strange Days in almost 30 years. Happy to say this movie is still absolutely AMAZING!!! A true cyberpunk gem.

Through creative use of juxtaposition they were able to get an amazing performance from Indy the dog, without having him ever realize that he was acting in a movie.

Knowing that alone makes this such a fun and interesting watch.
