Profile Picture alt textBlack shadows of a skull, tilted and looking upward slightly, as though laughing, perhaps. The background is green, towards teal, and patterned with darker green horizontal lines that are very fine and technical-feeling.
Header Image alt textThe name Traiken on a black background. The letters have an old CRT television pattern on them, and transition from green to white with some blue and red as a slight color separation. There is a pattern interruption through the name, glitch art like.

I'm pleased with how massive and cool I made this basic Yamaha synth from the 80s sound. This is a variation on a "jazz organ" sound run through guitar pedals, and then in parallel ring modulated, grain-shifted, and run through a rackmount guitar effect chain, and ended up sounding awesome enough to record a quick example because I just wanted to capture the tone.
Oh great, the snow is giving a statement now. I bet the snow is in the Epstein files, just like everything else that's overbearing, destructive, and white, EH? EH? AM I CORRECT, FOLKS???
Also, when putting together the artwork for today's Jamuary track, I put the new photo in the previous day's photoshop file. When I went to resize it, the combination of the image and yesterday's title was too good not to save.

OH YOU’RE JUST FUCKING WITH ME NOW
So I had the idea to buy angel statuettes and figurines that I could photograph and manipulate, even break. One of those photo experiments led to a shot that struck me as perfect for an album cover--but I already HAD the cover! It's what gave me the title for "Broken Angels" in the first place!
So I had a bit more direction to bolster me, and I started using other photos from that graveyard for album art. But by the time I started focusing on Broken Angels, the pandemic had begun, and I wasn't about to leave the house to take more photos.
New album out this Friday.
