For the past few weeks we've had a Duck (Betty) nesting in one of the planters at work, I've made sure she had water and I've been giving her peas to eat.
This morning I was greeted by this image 😍
She had 9 eggs and so far I have counted 4 ducklings.....well done "Betty" 👏
The second pair of tracks are now fitted, the next step is to make the brackets that'll attach them to the SoundCrawler chassis and also mount the four motors.

Started to fit the LEDs and switches for the SoundCrawler. One side of the sixteen step sequencer is for percussion and the other is for instruments. I still have to add more switches, potentiometers, buttons and 12 position rotary switches (for note selection), it's going to be a work in progress that constantly evolves with more features being added over time.
Well it's taken a good solid 8 hours to drill and bolt all the brackets on, not something I ever want to repeat but at least it makes for a pretty last picture 🤔
It's a good job I had access to an industrial aluminium saw to cut the 3mm angle otherwise it'd have been a nightmare 😬Now after measuring and fitting one there's only 151 left to file the sharp edges off and then only 302 holes left to drill in them before drilling 302 holes in the tracks and using 302 nuts and bolts to attach them 😭
All this on some caterpillar tracks no one will probably notice 🙄
Really pleased with the base coat, once that is dry I will go over it with a lighter colored coat then start adding highlights
