As Trump attacks students who dare speak up for basic justice for Palestine, a student at the University of Florida Law School named Preston Damsky wrote a paper arguing that the Constitution only applies to white people & Jews and non-whites should be “abolished by any means necessary.”

A Trump-nominated judge named John L. Badalamenti who teaches the class gave Damsky the highest grade and awarded him the Book prize.

University of Florida Law School defended the decision as “free speech.”

Many companies and individuals are trying to mislead people about the future of GrapheneOS to promote their insecure products and services. GrapheneOS is not going anywhere. We've made it clear we're shipping Android 16 soon and that the supported devices will remain supported.

I need some advice from any #Linux gurus out there, please.

I'm using an aged laptop (with Mint) and to preserve what's left of the battery, I wish to limit its charge to around 50% of rated capacity. (It's always on AC power.)

There's a Flatpak app called "TLP-UI" which is a "TLP configuration utility".

However, the size of this app is "783MB to download, 2.6GB of disk space required". (Yep, you read that correctly - HUGE!)

With only one review, and an enormous (apparent) filesize, it looks kinda dodgy to me.

Thoughts, anyone?
Alternate solutions?

I've been meaning to ask this on here for a while so I can put a collection together. What is one thing that most people these days believe is true, that you either have a hunch, or are pretty sure, or are quite certain is not actually true? Like if you lived back when most people still believed the world was flat but you were convinced that wasn't the case. Anyway I was just curious. Boosts appreciated so I can get more answers.

This is unpopular opinion, but for Firefox to live, Mozilla, as it currently operates, needs to die.

They forgot their core user base hates cloud and AI features. They want a simple browser that connects to web servers and displays pages. Meanwhile, executive are getting fat salaries and bounces while begging users for money on AI and other privacy intrusion projects like adding perplexity directly to Firefox. They lost their vision long time ago.

Ahaha excellent, there's an article on Ars Technica with the headline "The top fell off Australia’s first orbital-class rocket, delaying its launch" and the _very first_ comment is a link to the Clarke and Dawe "Front fell off" skit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m5qxZm_JqM) and all the Aussies are coming out of the woodwork making references to it.

(Oops I should probably include the actual link to the article: https://arstechnica.com/space/2025/05/the-top-fell-off-australias-first-orbital-class-rocket-delaying-its-launch/)
