Medically challenged but stubbornly undefeated fan of the outdoors.

Terrible cook apparently - honestly, I just have a bad attitude to that kind of stuff so if you are coming round for dinner best to bring your own.

Mud, mud, glorious mud! There was a less muddy path but I love stomping through as much as I can find. The trails did not disappoint today.
That’s a better photo, don’t know why I used the other but not going to delete

After a lot of hard work, I finally did it!

Can anyone more clever than me tell me what this plant is? Photo is from the Peak District, taken yesterday.
I set myself a goal of getting my cross stitch half finished in 6 months. I’ve got 10 days left and I’m not convinced I have the discipline to do it in time. I’m such a professional procrastinator that I’m thinking of taking some time to make a pattern grid to do list instead of just getting on with it 🤷‍♀️
Finally got around to finishing my first (and last) stumpwork #embroidery project. It’s far from perfect but here’s what I learnt. Whilst the 3D effect fascinates me, it’s painful on the hands and I don’t enjoy it at all.
Had a really difficult walk today, but it was still so good to be outdoors. So happy to get to this pretty part of trail knowing the car park was nearby and that I was not going to be spending the night in a ditch after-all.
Did I make it to top? No I did not 😂 Had to take an off ramp on a side path before I died. But, actually I’m pretty proud of my annoyingly disabled body for getting as far as I did today. Just keep trying to put one foot in front of the other.

Wasn’t well enough to go walking today. Was well enough to take my chair and sit at the top of the hill and read my book in the sunshine. 10/10 recommend 😀

Been keeping myself occupied with a bit of #CrossStitch. Slow but relaxing progress. #Wip
