OUTSIDE
Wear a hat and loose clothing
Drink water
Rehydrate. Salt if you don't have a commercial rehydrate
Move slowly
Stay out of the sun as much as possible

INSIDE
Close doors windows and curtains

And a final note. If you or someone with you stops sweating and / or starts talking nonsense dump them in water and get medical help immediately

While watching the sunset in the Cederberg Mountains a Cape Grey Mongoose came looking for a snack. He was served raw egg and finished the yolk only then disappeared into the bush again

In the 1960's and 1970's was in Boy Scouts for over a decade, starting as a Cub and ending up as a Springbok Scout.
Every time I went to an event I would to my mother's horror swap scarves with a scout from another troop.
At the end of my scouting career I ended up with 35 scarves which with a lot of help from my, wife and a quilting expert I turned into a quilt.
