I love the creative process.
The photograph/avatar is of an ostrich looking directly at the camera. It is looking impish mainly because it had just tried to pull my wedding ring off my finger and failed. I got the feeling it wanted a second try.

Apparently 28th April is Terry Pratchett Day, being his birthday an' all.
A person I never met, yet I still mourn his passing, for his works brought joy and comfort to myself and millions of others. Not to mention, as a teenager, a foundational education in society, politics, justice, and puns.
The Breederivier (Broad River) flows slowly and majestically past a viewing platform.
Birds in the trees and fish in the river are the only noises to be heard.
Peaceful.
