Lv 42 retired guardian angel and solar installer-in-training from Minnesota (shocking, I know). Maker, gamer, self-proclaimed chef, part-time mad scientist, adjunct virtual spaceship pilot for SMBOrg. Unhealthy amounts of silly, not a significant source of vitamin C. He/him, pan + dating + looking.
What exactly coming from Canada did they say "absolutely not" to at the border?
It is so nice out right now. It almost feels like fall. I wish I was camping tonight. I love foggy nights.
I turned around and the sun attacked.
The mission goes well.
It's been a hot minute since I posted one of these. Have some out of context quotes.
Decided to try switching slicers. Let's see how OrcaSlicer does.

Two really annoying things to wake up to. 13 hour print complete, but a head crash caused a layer shift half way through scrapping most of the parts. BUT, apparently my slicer got set to "fill holes" which scrapped the only 2 parts that were short enough to avoid the layer shift anyway >_<

As for what I'm printing, well, IYKYK. Don't google it at work.

Finally got my printer back up and running. With the diamondback nozzle, they recommend recalibrating temperature because apparently diamond is an exceptionally good thermal conductor. But now I'm starting to wonder if this stuff is even ABS. I've been able to print it as low as 190, as high as 270 and it looks damn near the same at every temperature.
I... Forgot I did that 😂
