This tower is a landmark in Watertown, WI. Watertown used to have two radio stations on this tower: WMLW-FM and WTTN-AM, with studios downtown. They are long since gone.
Several years back we put a translator on that tower, part of our 101.1/96.1/WFAW-AM simulcast, with a rock format and news, weather, and public service programming covering the underserved areas of Watertown, Johnson Creek, and Fort Atkinson.
Tomorrow's radio fun: Stopping at a transmitter site to grab the model number of a coax switch, and then figuring out why the newsroom studio isn't connecting to the on-air studio at a station. Should be either really easy, or stupid difficult.
It hurts my heart that people are making rules that do nothing but get revenge on groups of people that don’t have the power to fight back.
Instead of feeling helpless, I’m going to be kind and caring to everyone, even those I disagree with. If they want to tear people down with words and actions, I will stand up to them with kindness.
After all, change starts around you.

Spent yesterday in a cold transmitter building tuning up a new transmitter and doing a proof with the spectrum analyzer. I could think of many places I'd rather be, like the DMV or an Emergency Room waiting area...
