I should be working on job applications right now, but I just can't seem to be focused. Instead, I'm listening to my #PetShopBoys singles collection.
I had forgotten what a great song "Numb" for their "Fundamental" is. I will admit I am a fan of electronic artists that combine their music with orchestras. The Pet Shop Boys also did this with "Jealousy" from their "Behaviour" album.

This morning I decided that I was in the mood for New Order's first ever album, "Movement". This was the album that the members of Joy Division released after the tragic death of Joy Division's lead singer Ian Curtis.
I haven't listened to all of their albums, in sequential order, so I think that once I'm through with that album, I will move onto the next album, "Power, Corruption & Lies"
My wife made a favorite meal of mine for dinner last night: albondigas soup. So delicious!! Looking forward to leftovers for lunch today!
Another song of the weekend. This one was one of my first crushes: Sheena Easton. Listening to this song always brings a smile to my face. Her voice is just amazing!

My weekend music video. I've followed the Pet Shop Boys since they first the US music charts back in the mid-80s.
They've done so many great tracks and videos, but Jealousy from their Behaviour album is still my all time favorite.
I love the mix of the classic PSB sound with orchestral sounds. Always brings a smile to my face when I hear the opening notes.
