Got my first apple gadget today. I now have a 10th gen ipad.

I'm sure it's a good device it's just learning curve is quite high and the out of box experience has been bloody horrible.

I finally have my accounts on up and I have where I wanted to be just 4 hours later than I would like

Sometimes I think Warhammer 40K gets it right Abominable Intelligence.

I use them all the time. Got Alexa setup I can call emergency services using my voice, in case I slip and fall again, broke my leg last time.

Hate Gemini though, it's like dollar store C3PO.

Gave up expecting privacy some disabilities ago

I once had the opportunity to work for the Florida state government while she was attorney general I declined. Primary reason her and the IT department and their relationship..... I would not want to be one of those IT people back then that's for sure.
Back for a moment. Dialysis has been rough. Adjusting. Semi-retired and glad to see a forum not lit up with openclaw.

TFW you saved your son's laptop travel power supply from the garbage. $20-35 USD, and it just pisses me off he was going to trash it.
TFW you have a couple of the same power supplies and no freaking clue what device used them.

Moving the computer room has sucked. Between that and needing dialysis it's rough.

It took two months but I finally figured out a location that can run the Nextcloud server.

I added the server to the home entertainment area, which already has wired internet.

Was promised I'd get wires run to this new computer room/office, but between the heat and finances, it's not going to be soon.

I also finally got the main computer operational yesterday.

This space is so much smaller....
