CO2 emissions from fossil fuels hit a record high in 2022. This is up 1% from 2021, and beats the pre-pandemic highs of 2019, according to the new @gcarbonproject report.

De winnaar van de vergunning voor een van de twee windparken in het gebied Hollandse Kust (west) is Oranje Wind Power II, een dochteronderneming van RWE AG. Het betreft de vergunning voor de bouw en exploitatie van het windpark Hollandse Kust (west) kavel VII, een van de twee nieuwe windparken in de Noordzee in 2026. Hierbij worden nieuwe innovaties toegepast.

The tender criteria for this wind farm focused on system integration. In conjunction with the wind farm RWE will also build 600 MW of electrolysers (for the production of hydrogen), 225 MW of e-boilers for district heating and industry, batteries and floating solar PV.
